Welcome

Together We Build a Peaceful Community
Juntos, Construimos una Comunidad de Paz

Vision
A peaceful community in which tolerance, mutual respect and cooperation allow people of diverse racial and economic backgrounds to live together as neighbors.
Mission
The mission--to assist individuals, families and groups in their struggle to survive economic, social, health and emotional crises and to support growth toward self-sufficiency
Core Goals
To integrate social, health, youth and group programs to provide holistic services. To support neighbors through home visits. To break down barriers created by poverty, isolation, fear and prejudice. To recognize and promote the dignity of each person in the community. To be hopeful and witness God's love for all people.

Midtown is an unique place
» where everyone is welcome and everyone belongs
» where services and support come together
» where families and children come first
» where the community gathers for sharing, work, to pray & play.

MOVE CITY GREENS

WE NEED YOU SUPPORT! City Greens Market has received a $30,000 "matching' grant from the Brown Sisters Foundation to be able to Move City Greens into its own space in the community. To receive full benefit of this grant we need to raise matching funds. PLEASE HELP US serve our neighbors by making healthy food accessible. GIVE WHAT YOU CAN to provide food in "food deserts" where no healthy food is available. Our own space will help us reach more of the community by being open more often and for longer hours.

For a donation of
$150 you will be listed as a "Green Shopper"
$250 your listing will be as a "City Greener"
$500 or more will make you an official "Green Grocer"

But, any donation will be matched by the Brown Sisters Foundation grant. We hope to be able to move in late spring. We count on our friends and supporters to make Midtown's mission of service a success and City Greens Market is another way you can help us-
WE CANNOT DO IT BY OURSELVES!
